My expertise includes Literacy, Numeracy, Trauma Informed Teaching and Inquiry Based Learning and I have enjoyed working closely with leading educators in these fields. As a lifelong learner, I always seek to improve myself and my understanding of best practice in schools. I am a voracious reader and researcher and love engaging with new ideas in education.

Drive

I am passionate about teacher and school improvement. I love helping teachers to cultivate rewarding, dynamic, and high-performing educational environments which provide excellent student experiences. I am committed to ensuring student voice and agency within the curriculum and enjoy creating opportunities for students to share their learning with their families. Parents, families, and carers are a child’s first and most important teachers. I believe when families and schools work together children’s learning is enhanced and they have the opportunity to shine. Through my role as Deputy Principal I will work hard to create the best conditions for all teachers and students to flourish. I look forward to supporting the teachers at Christ the King to continue to provide rigorous learning programs which are designed to develop optimistic, resilient young people of faith, who are ready to be effective members of the community.
