As a former student of Christ the King, it was an exciting and somewhat nostalgic experience taking the tour prior to enrolling our daughter.
I am a mother of two girls, one attending Christ the King in Grade One and the other in 3-year-old kinder. I am currently teaching in a Senior College and have been a Secondary School Teacher for 13 years. To compliment my current role as a teacher, I am in the process of completing a course to become a qualified Careers Practitioner.
As a member of the School Advisory Council, I look forward to collaborating with other members of the council to support the staff and principal team here at Christ the King. As the school continues to grow in many ways, being a support for growth and change means that together we can further enrich the educational experiences for all students.
Having just joined the Advisory Council, I see that the greatest achievement to date is having the ability to be involved in the discussions with members of the council. The Christ the King community is one that is welcoming and encouraging. I have no doubt that as a council we will continue to achieve excellent outcomes for the school’s students, families and wider school community.
