Professional Interests and Expertise:
Social Justice: In July 2018 I traveled to Viqueque to work with our partner parish, Mary Immaculate. From this immersion in faith and culture, I hope to be able to contribute to the ongoing work we do with our students in understanding Catholic Social Justice teachings.
Former Member of Christ the King STEM ( Science Technology Engineering & maths) Committee: I assisted other teachers (both at Christ the King and across the system) in their understanding of STEM and design learning opportunities that prepared students for their future.
Former Student Leader Coordinator: I worked closely with our Student Leaders to develop their leadership skills through character based learning opportunities.

I am lucky enough to belong to a school community that supports each other so that we can provide the best opportunities for their students. I want to be part of a team that encourages students to thrive as learners. As a passionate teacher I see my role as a teacher who provides learning opportunities that encourages students to take risks with their learning…that is what drives me to be the best teacher I can be.
